A Visit to Nehru Science Centre

The day started with gathering the student at the school and traveling to the Nehru Science Center in a bus. After reaching the venue the students were divided in 5 groups and a leader and a volunteer were assigned to each group.

Firstly, the students were taken to the dolphin show in which they learnt about different types of dolphins and their connecting behaviors with the humans. After the dolphin show was the planet show. In this show every information related to the different planets present in our solar system was provided on the 3D globe.

Later in the day, students were shown science experiments related to the motion and the energy by the Nehru Science Centre volunteers. After the experiments, the young learners got an opportunity to visit the three-story gallery of Nehru Science Centre. The gallery consists of different types of Science models and machines. Each volunteer was giving proper instructions about every model to their respective groups.

The trip was great success as the youngsters learned by the visit and enjoyed a lot during the journey. They gained practical knowledge about scientific concepts due to this visit. We are looking forward to planning more such field trips to help the kids learn and grow
