Mother Teresa, a contributor who devoted her entire life to the service of others, is called the Goddess of Mercy and the Idol of Humanity. Mother Teresa was a saintly woman. She was not an Indian by birth but came to India to serve the needy. Mother Teresa was born into a Christian family, she traveled to many countries and spread religious faith among the people. She came to Kolkata, India, and started teaching children at Lorette Convent School. She was a very disciplined teacher.
Mother Teresa was disturbed by the suffering of the slum dwellers in Kolkata. After this, she walked the streets of Kolkata and taught people kindness and love. She lived in a very small room and talked to people she met there. Mother Teresa was lovingly conversing with everyone she met. She was a very humble woman. Gentleness and humility were evident in his smile. From morning till evening they were in the service of the poor.
Mother Teresa conveyed a message of love and peace. Love is a fruit that comes in every season and every person can get it, she said. Mother Teresa used to say that peace begins with a smile on her face. His message was that we should love one another in the same way that God loves us. Only if we follow these things can we establish peace in the universe, in the country, at home, and in our hearts. Mother Teresa died of a heart attack at the age of 73.
Mother Teresa’s great work created a sense of peace among all the people of the country. she preached to all people that we should all live in love. Mother Teresa’s social work is still remembered today. They are not in the world today but their missionaries are working to serve the poor.
3 Things To Learn From Mother Teresa
1.) ONE PERSON CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
The world’s difficulties can appear overwhelming and challenging. And they are. We are not asked to fix the world’s problems. But this does not mean that we can’t make a difference. Maybe the difference is just in our neighborhood but we are not able to see it, or even the way we show love to our family and friends. Also, a small difference is well worth the effort. Little differences compile to great differences. Teresa shows us that one person can make an enormous difference.
2.) SELFLESS OBEDIENCE.
How much easier would it be for Mother Teresa to just living her life as a normal citizen in her community? or also as a nun or an instructor to wayward youth? what number of times must she have doubted God’s calling? there will be times must she have wished for God to “take the cup” from her, as Jesus did before his crucifixion? Yet Jesus and Teresa both received the will of God and pushed through the fear, the disbelief, the pain, the separation, and also the difficulty to satisfy God’s wishes. this is often true compliance. Can we accept our mission and show a part of that compliance?
3.) DO EVERYTHING WITH LOVE.
Mother Teresa doesn’t judge the people she assisted. She didn’t scold them for his or her past sins, she didn’t refuse to assist them because they weren’t Christian, she didn’t want them to repent before she helped. She just helped them by loving them. Mother Teresa’s service was the essence of Christianity and one that we will surely follow. Serving people without judgment. Without throwing stones. She lived her life exactly as Jesus has instructed us, with faith, hope, and love. the best of these being love. Most people find it pretty easy to love our relatives and friends. But can we start with love and without judgment when it appears to strangers, as Mother Teresa did?
