Value Yourself
Once a man was sadly sitting alone thinking that God would come to him. Seeing God in front of him, the person asked, I have failed many times in life, now I am disappointed. Tell me, Lord, what is the cost of this life of mine? God gave the person a bright red colored stone and said “Go find out the value of this stone, you too will know the value of your life. But keep in mind that this stone is not to be sold.
The person first went to a fruit person with that red shiny stone and said “Brother.. for how much will you buy this stone?” The fruitman looked at the stone carefully and said “Take 10 oranges from me and give this stone to me”
The person said that no, I cannot sell this stone. Then the man went to a vegetable seller and said to him, “How much will you buy this red stone for?” The vegetable seller said take a sack of potatoes from me and sell this stone to me, but according to God the person said no, I cannot sell it.
Then the person took the stone and went to a goldsmith’s shop where various types of ornaments were lying. The person showed that stone to goldsmith and that goldsmith looked at that stone very carefully and then said “I will give you 1 crore rupees, sell this stone to me.” Then the person apologized to goldsmith and said that I cannot sell this stone. goldsmith said again “Okay come on, I will give you 2 crores, sell this stone to me”
The man was shocked to hear goldsmith, but after listening to goldsmith, he went ahead and went to a diamond seller’s shop. The diamond merchant looked at that red shiny stone for a full 10 minutes and then took a muslin cloth and kept that stone. Then the merchant placed his head on that stone and bowed his head and said, “Where did you get it, it is the most precious gem in this world. Even if all the wealth of this world is put, still no one can buy this stone.” Hearing this the person was very surprised and went straight to the Lord and told him his past and then he asked the Lord, “Oh Lord, now tell me what is the value of this life of mine?”
God said, “Fruit seller, vegetable seller, goldsmith and diamond merchant told you the value of life. O man, for some you are like a piece of stone and for some you are like a precious stone. Everyone gave you that stone.” According to his knowledge, but that diamond merchant recognized this stone. Similarly some people do not recognize your ability, so never be disappointed in life. Every person in this world has some skill or the other. Happens which comes at the right time, but it requires hard work and patience.
The day the world will know your true worth, you will be proud of yourself. guys we need a to believe in yourself. You are different and with hard work you can enhance your personality. On that day the whole world will understand your talent and there will be happiness and respect in your life.
